I have been obsessed with ice cream of late so when I heard about chocolate gelato made from the dark chocolates at Peterbrooke Chocolatier Tallahassee, I had to try it. So good. The gelato flavor was deep and rich yet cool and refreshing. But there were so many tempting flavors I had to try one more. The store’s sweet and patient Loughlin Shaul helped me pick a second scoop: coconut with toasted flakes. This treat, in a waffle cone was $5. They also have chocolate dipped cones and cups for $4 and $4.75. Peterbroke is by Whole Foods on Thomasville Road. On a hot summer’s day, what a treat.
