Coffee lovers are celebrating this weekend. The sixth location of Lucky Goat Coffee is now open in the former home of Vertigo Burgers, 1395 E. Lafayette St. in Indianhead. Contact: 850-999-2784.
Employees have been giving away free 11-ounce cans of the coffee company’s Lucky Goat Cold Brew Coffee, “Cold Gold,” as part of the shop’s opening promotion. I missed the sock giveaway on 7/27 but an employee told me they gave away over 200 socks to customers.
The new location is bright and shiny new – and the honey lavender latte was terrific, as usual. Hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays.
Lucky Goat’s other locations are in Bannerman Crossings, Midtown, on Capital Circle, the Market District and South Adams Street.
